Pokémon: Sword & Shield

Overview

This is the view when you arrive from the west exit of Frostpoint Field.

The Giant’s Bed is the largest zone in the Crown Tundra. To save your (and our) sanity, we’ve split the zone into northern and southern halves.

The northern half is the area near the Iron Ruins plus the higher ground leading up to Snowslide Slope. Meanwhile, the southern half encompasses the areas around the Old Cemetery.

Iron Ruins

These dusty ruins are located towards the far west of the Giant’s Bed. They’re directly ahead if you enter the zone from the west half of Frostpoint Field. After visiting Peony in Freezington, you can unlock the secrets of this ruin, which leads to an encounter with Registeel.

Rock Peak Ruins

At the opposite end of the Giant’s Bed, south of the Giant’s Foot, there’s a path that leads to the Rock Peak Ruins. Likewise, after solving the riddle in front of the door, you can encounter one of the Regi–more specifically, the sturdy Regirock.

Virizion’s Turf

If you’ve found 50 footprints belonging to the Grassland Pokémon, Virizion, and reported your findings to Sonia, "Virizion" IconVirizion will appear towards the south of the Giant’s Bed. Specifically, it’s wandering around the area before the unavoidable row of tall grass to the west of the Old Cemetery.

Mysterious Den

Along the way to Snowslide Slope, after going past a small lake and pond, there’s a den surrounded by four rocks. Unlike other dens, this den is never active and you can’t use a Wishing Piece on it. As it happens, if you draw a line between all four of the Regi ruins, this den will be in the center. This is a hint that you need all the Regi to solve its mystery.

Items

Trade an Electabuzz holding this to evolve it into Electivire.

North Side

Item Location
TR70 Flash Cannon Just outside the entrance to the Iron Ruins, on the right after going up the steps.
Max Potion In a small space encircled by tall grass opposite the Iron Ruins and to the right (when facing away from the ruins).
Cracked Pot Follow the left-hand side wall from the east exit of Frostpoint Field. Next to the corner of the first rundown building.
Room Service Inside the last rundown building along the left side, past the abandoned fields. There’s a berry tree close by.
Electirizer Follow the right-hand side ledge. Near the slope that leads to lower ground, there’s a pond. This item’s sitting on the right, near a tree.
TR30 Encore Along the left-hand side wall, there’s a body of water before reaching Snowslide Slope. Atop the area surrounded by water. A water-traversing bike is required.

South Side

Item Location
Razor Claw After going past the Old Cemetery (exiting via the east), the rocky terrain will cause the path to split to the left and right. Head inside the tall grass towards the left. This item is sitting next to a large tree in the middle of the grass.
Assault Vest Opposite the entrance to Rock Peak Ruins, there’s a gap in the tall grass. This item’s sitting next to a flat boulder there.
TR75 Stone Edge To the right of the Rock Peak Ruins entrance, up the stairs.
Life Orb Enter the river that leads to Ballimere Lake, between the Old Cemetery and the Rock Peak Ruins. Just before reaching the lake, there’s some land on the right.

Berry Trees

North Side

Item Location
Petaya Berry, Chilan Berry etc. To the left of the Iron Ruins (when facing the ruins).
Kebia Berry, Payapa Berry etc. Follow the left-hand side wall from the east exit of Frostpoint Field. Inside the last rundown building, past the abandoned fields.
Haban Berry, Rowap Berry etc. If you keep following the wall, you’ll reach a body of water. This tree is atop the land surrounded by the water. You’ll need a water-traversing bike to reach it.

South Side

Item Location
Wacan Berry, Coba Berry etc. Near the river that leads to Ballimere Lake. You’ll find it towards the east of the Old Cemetery.

Hidden Items

You can buy mints from the Battle Tower, but finding them here will save you a lot of BP.
