Starting An Unfamiliar Sense Quest¶

Once you’ve completed The Smuggled Relic Case Main Quest, speak with Harding at the Conservatory of the Lighthouse to get this quest underway. Harding wants to get some practice in with her newfound abilities, so head to the crossroads and take the boat across to the Elvhenan’s Haven. Deal with the enemies and shoot the blight boils to free the eastern path to the Arlathan Forest, then meet with Harding who can be found in Ruin’s Reach.

Help Harding Practice Her Ability¶

You’ll want to follow Harding until you reach the Rocky Shoreside and a cutscene will trigger when you come across a lowered rock. If you’re trying to romance Harding, then you’ll want to select the “Wanna talk?” option during the conversation to increase your bond with her. After the scene has come to a close, you’ll want to follow the path ahead while using Harding’s abilities to adjust the positions of certain rocks.

Eventually you’ll reach a large open area which contains many different types of rocks, so interact with each of them and work your way to the top of the area. Open the gear chest and use the beam to get across, then bring the crystal and place it onto the device to create a platform. Head through the Nameless Building to reach the Shoreside Courtyard, then use Harding’s abilities once more to reach the platform above and speak with the Veil Jumper.

An Unfamiliar Sense Quest Rewards¶

After successfully saving the Veil Jumper and Harding now has a better understanding of her abilities the quest will come to a close and you’ll rewarded with 750 XP, Secrets and Memories (Rare Keepsake), +100 Veil Jumper Strength and Harding Bond Increase for your troubles.
