A Hidden Horde is a side quest that can be found in Dock Town in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and can be accessed after 
The Siege of Weisshaupt main quest. Read on to find out where you need to go and what you get for completing the quest.
Interact with the noticeboard in Wharf Crossing North to start this quest.

Starting the A Hidden Horde Quest¶
Once you’ve completed The Siege of Weisshaupt Main Quest, select your party (we recommend at least bringing along Bellara for her Lightning-based attacks) and interact with the noticeboard which is located in Wharf Crossing North. It mentions that there is an interesting treasure buried somewhere in the city.
Where to Find The Hidden Treasure in Minrathous¶
Make your way over to the beginning of the trail which is located in Wharf Crossing South and interact with the On The Right Track note which is found on the table behind the fast travel point. You’ll now want to head over to the Side Alley Bridge (north of your current location) and climb up to the top of the Tindarion Tower to find the Almost There note sitting next to a chest.

You’ll now want to travel east until you reach the Shoreline Passage, then pickup the Grand Finale note of the table. Head south and cross the boat to reach the other side of Aula’s Lookout, then work your way through to the western side of the catacombs until you find yourself getting ambushed. There are a few enemies here, so you’ll want to try and lure them over to a more open area and deal with the basic enemies first to avoid taking damage from multiple angles at once

The remaining enemies will have shields to begin with so if it’s yellow use heavy attacks and if it’s blue use ranged attacks, such Bow: Rogue, Warrior: Shield Throw and Mage: Staff. If you took Bellara, then she’ll be able to make quick work of them, as her lightning skills will hit their weakness. Use the recently acquired Heavy Bronze Key and open the door and inside you’ll find two gear chests, a Ripped Note and a Torn Journal Page.
A Hidden Horde Quest Rewards¶
Upon learning the outcome of the victim the quest will come to a close and you’ll be rewarded with 500 XP, +100 Shadow Dragons Strength and Companion Bond Increase. Additionally, a follow up quest “Desperate in Dock Town” will become available.
