Dragon Age: The Veilguard has a lengthy main story so you may want to take a break and do some interesting side quests to learn more about your fellow companions. These are a good way of earning EXP and Equipment which will give you an advantage in the upcoming missions. On this page you’ll find a list of all the Side Quests and their rewards in the Rivain Coast sub-region of Thedas.
The Rivain Coast will become available during The Dragon Slayer Main Quest.
Where to Find All Side Quests in the Rivain Coast¶
The first half of the Rivain sub-region will become explorable during 
The Dragon Slayer Main Quest, then the second half of the region will become available during the Taash’s 
Lair of the Dragon King Companion Quest. There are six side quests in total here and they’ll gradually become available while you progress through the story, so be sure to check back regularly.
