Starting A Study of Dock Town Quest¶

Speak with Neve back at the Guesthouse of the Lighthouse to get this quest underway once Dock Town has become an explorable zone which happens after the Shadows of Minrathous Main Quest! This is a fairly simple quest, but we recommend doing it if you wish to learn more about Neve’s backstory and it’ll also bag you some extra bond points which will help you romance her.

Get News in Dock Town¶

Head to Dock Town via fast travel or the Crossroads, then follow the path around to the southeast to find Neve in Glandivalis Square. She wants to look for some news papers serials for Bellara, so you’ll want to continue to follow Neve around Dock Town until you’ve picked the following news papers: The Minrathous Mirror (Side Alley Bridge), Dockside Discourse (Wharf Crossing North) and The Morning Scroll (Shoreline Passage).

If you’re trying to romance Neve, then you’ll want to select the “I like surprises” option after you’ve finished speaking with Elek, as this will increase your bond with her. Neve want’s to get her hands on some more papers, so go over to the center of Wharf Crossing South and pickup The Nightly Song, then head around to the back of Enchanters Corridor and pickup The Imperial Secret.

A Study of Dock Town Quest Rewards¶

With all the newspapers collected, follow Neve over to Piscator Landing for some food, then you’ll be provided with another flirt opportunity by saying “I’m glad you took the job”. Following this conversation the quest will come to a close and you’ll be rewarded with 500 XP, Exhaustive Notes (Trinket) and Neve Bond Increase.
